Nicaragua

I do think that we, the United States, should help Nicaragua for several reasons such as poverty, education and job opportunities. The United States is a more advanced country than Nicaragua. We can help them improve their country or just help them survive by giving financial donations, food and medicine supplies. I believe that it is our duty to help other poor helpless countries because it feels good to help. We could even donate an animal to a poor family with financial issues. That is why I think we should help Nicaragua with their problems.

One of the reasons why we should help Nicaragua is because of the high poverty percentage in their country. We can set up funds that go to Nicaraguan families such as a bake sale of fundraiser. Also, we can set up food services and donate the amount of food we raise to these poor families. It is very important to help poor countries so we can show the world that we do care for the world.

Another reason is their education turnout and how they charge the families for their children's education. Education is very important in order to find a good paying job or career and find ways to make a living off of their resources. We can give them ideas on how to teach children and help pay for their children's education. Donations can help pay for people's college fees and young children's education charges. In countries like Nicaragua, the government tells families that they have to pay for their own education. Education should be a right so everyone has an equal chance to make a living. That is why we should help Nicaragua with their education department.

The last reason is that Nicaragua has a decreased job enrollment. We can give them job tips and advice for how to obtain more jobs to decrease their poverty percentage. That is why it is important to have an education because that helps you get a job. Jobs can help pay for food, bills and many other necessities for living in Nicaragua. That is why it is so important to have a good job in a poorer country so that you can pay for daily necessities. We can help them find and get good jobs to help poor families pay for needs that are necessary for life in Nicaragua.

So, I highly agree that the United States should help Nicaragua with their struggling problems. We have the resources and knowledge on how to help them. As an advanced country, I think we have a duty to help others that have little. I am glad that there are organizations that already help poor countries. I enjoy being part of different organizations because I can donate my time and money to people in need. We have the resources to help them and I hope that we, the United States, will help Nicaragua with their food and money crisis.

My Childhood

When you are a baby, you would think or believe what your parents believed or even said. I believed everything that my parents said. Also, I believed things that other people told me. I used to believe in Santa Claus, watched Barney, and participate in Halloween. These three things are activities that I enjoyed in past, but have no interest in them any more.

One activity that I enjoyed was to believe in the jolly Santa Claus. When I was younger, I would think that every Christmas Santa would come to bring you the latest toys and eat a bunch of high-calorie cookies. Almost every young child believes that. Once I reached age ten, the whole Santa Claus coming down the chimney thing got a little bit questionable. Then soon after that, you find out that there is no such thing and you play along for your younger siblings. For me, my younger sister actually figured it out and raised suspicion so I did not really have to play along. Finally, when you reach the adult age you play along with it and make your children’s dreams come true by buying them those toys and goodies.

Another activity I enjoyed was to watch the popular show called Barney. As a child, the show Barney taught you several things and let you sing your hearts out to the Barney theme song. It’s embarrassing to admit but I just loved that show. I would sit on the couch all day long and watch this same show over, and over. I remember owning about 10 episodes and watching them continuously. I even had an official Barney plush, stuffed thing that I kept by my side all day. The best thing about Barney was their music and their famous theme song, that I know everyone knows. That why I watched Barney so much as a child.

Also, I used to go around in a little costume and say “trick or treat” to all the neighbors to get a big bag full of candy. It would be fun to dress up as my recent best superhero and pretend to be him. For example, one year I dressed up as Spiderman and had a blast pretending to climb up walls and shoot webs at innocent people. I really believed that I was truly a hero that night. It’s also good to get candy. That’s everyone’s best part about Halloween and possibly their dentist because he/she’s getting a lot of customers. You’ve just got to love the excitement in every child’s eyes that Halloween is here. Even if the costume cost a lot, it is worth it to see your child have a huge grin on their faces.

So, I did a lot of things that I now think is un-cool or even just baby related. You just grow out of it when you mature and become a teenager. Everybody changes the way the live concerning their beliefs, customs, and even their daily routines. These were just some things I did as a child and no-longer do as a teenager.
